Estate of ALFRED HARRINGTON, Dec.

 

State of Texas To the Honorable the Probate Court of said County.

Collin County We the undersigned Comms. Appointed at the Dec. Term of said Court 1869 to make a division of the partnership property belonging to SILAS HARRINGTON and to the Estate of ALFRED HARRINGTON Dec. and after said division to make partition and distribution of the property so set apart to the said estate and also of the other real property belonging to the said estate between the several specified heirs thereof would beg leave to make the following report.

 

FIRST

 

To SILAS HARRINGTON we allotted and set apart the following lands to wit:

 

A Suvy. of 445 acres Abs. No. 685 in the names of L. A. West and particularly described in Pattent (sic) No. 277, Vol. 10 and situation in Denton Co.

And a survey of 320 acres Abs. No. 318 in Collin County in the name of D. B. Hearn & particularly described by a deed from Rachel Hearn executrix to SILAS HARRINGTON, recorded in Book J, Page 553. Both tracts valued at $4000.00

The estate of ALFORD HARRINGTON we have allotted and set apart in Denton co.:

A Sury. of 320 acres Abs. No. (blank) a survey in the name of David Cook and described by Patent No. 260, Vol. 11 and in Collin Co. A tract of 157 ½ acres a part of Abst. No. 533, a survey of 206 acres in the name of L. K. Pegues and described by a deed from G. H. Pegues to SILAS HARRINGTON recorded in Book J, Page 294 and a survey of 160 acres Abs. No. 911 in the name of McKinney & Williams and described by Patent 837, Vol. 7. All valued at $4000.00

Estate of H. A. DUNCAN, Dec. Will

 

County of Collin In the Name of God, Amen: I, H. A. DUNCAN of the County of Collin

State of Texas and State of Texas being in feeble health but of a sound and disposing mind and memory and anxious to settle my worldy (sic) affairs while I have capacity to do so do hereby make this my last will and testimony viz:

1st. I bequeath the residue of all my property both real and personal after settling my indebtedness unto my three children to be divided equal between them viz, one third unto my dear daughter CORA ALICE DUNCAN and third unto my oldest son ROBERT VIVIAN DUNCAN and one third unto my youngest HENRY IKE DUNCAN.

2d. I hereby further provide that the above named property be session (?) in the hands of and subject to the management of my beloved wife MARTHA A. DUNCAN until as each of my children become of age it shall be disbursed to them respectively as herein set forth.

3rd. I hereby appointed my beloved wife MARTHA A. DUNCAN the guardian of my children and the executrix of this my last will and testament.

Also that a suit is still pending against the estate as heretofore mentioned in favor of the Denton Heirs which is now pending in the District Court of Collin County, also one in the Supreme Court in favor of NANCY ANN BECK, both of said suits for a part of the land known as WM. DAVIS augmentation headright on the homestead of your Administratrix is situation and that the probable cost of administration will be in all one hundred and fifty dollars and that since filing of her inventory she had found about one acre of land in the town of McKinney belonging to the estate she asks land be inventoried and that the same be sold to satisfy the judgment lien of J. W. Throckmorton which is still unsatisfied.
