District Court of said Collin county he was instructed to sell 60 acres of land a part of the MICAHEL SEA Survey situated in Collin county belonging to the said Estate at private or public sale that on the 7th day of July A. d. 1876 he bargained and sold said land to Wm. P. YOUNG for the sum of six Hundred dollars payable within six months from date of confirmation of the sale that the said amount is a full and fair prince for the said land. The condition of the above obligation is that whereas the above bound MARTHA E. DUPEY has this day filed an inventory of the community property of herself and her deceased husband A. H. DUPEY now should the said MARTHA E. DUPEY faithfully administer said property and after paying off all the debts against said property that she will pay over to heirs of A. H. DUPEY one half of the remainder of said community property to said person or persons as are entitled to receive the same.

County Court of Collin County and State of Texas setting in probate the undersigned admr. de bonis non of DAVID WETSEL decd. would represent that heretofore to wit at the April Term of the District Court of Collin County and Texas there having Jurisdiction of this subject an order was made that the undersigned proceed to sell at private sale for cash in lawful currency of the United States for payment of Debts 320 acres of land the headright survey of DAVID WETSEL deceased more particularly described by metes and bounds in said order of sale to which reference is here made and that the undersigned report said sale where made to said court for confirmation in term time (?). The undersigned further report that he made a contract of sale under said order but the contractor JAMES JORTERANT (?) failed to comply with his bid so it could be reported to the court in any authentic form and since by the failure in the session of course (?) during the reorguring (reorganizing?) under the new constitution this matter has been delayed to the present time. But now to you[r] Honorable Court to which said probate Jurisdiction of said late District Court has been transferred by law the undersigned begs leave to report that he…

                Now comes MARY E. STOGSDILLE admx. of said Estate & represents that in obedience to an order of your Honorable cr[ou]t. she advertized according to law and sold at the Court House door within legal hours on the first Wednesday in Nov. 1874 the same being the 3rd day thereof the following described property of said Est[ate] Part of Lot no. 1  in Block no. 1 in the town of Weston, Collin County 24 X 44 feet at public outcry to the highest bidder as the law requires when DR. C. R. HARRIS bid therefor the sum of two (?) hundred & Eighty Dollars which being the highest & best bid it was Knocked off to him. Reporter would represent that 575.22 was paid to DURHAM by entering a credit for that amount on a Judgt. [Judgment] recovered in Dist. Crt. [Court] v. C. R. HARRIS for the sum of 616.45 by agreement of said HARRIS & the creditors that said DURHAM’S claim against the Est[ate] held a lien on the Drugstore & Lot in the town of Weston and the said HARRIS wholly insolvent & the remainder paid on the claims which had been allowed & approved within the twelve months or legally filed for approval.
